CERAMIC COATINGS
Small Title
WHAT IS A CERAMIC COATING?
A Ceramic Coating (such as Opti-Coat Pro, C.Quartz, Ceramic Pro, and P&S Inspiration) is a liquid polymer that is applied by hand to the exterior of a vehicle. The coating chemically bonds with the vehicle’s factory paint, creating a layer of protection.
Ceramic Coating creates a permanent or semi-permanent bond with a vehicle’s paint, meaning that it does not wash away or break down and does not require repeated application every few months like wax or sealant.

PAINT CORRECTION / BEFORE APPLICATION
Paint correction involves minor to 3-step paint correction to remove swirl marks or webbing. The detailer will level the paint to the depth of the scratch or swirl before applying a ceramic coating. Paint correction must be done prior to coating any vehicle to get the best results. If you decide to skip this step, any defect in the paint will be magnified tenfold by the ceramic coating. Here at Mike's Craftline Detailing we offer different options based on your cars needs.
